NHRTI held a two-day corporate governance induction for its Board, supporting leadership of the Institute’s expanded responsibilities under the National Health Research and Training Institute Act.

Facilitated by Bridges Limited, the programme covered board duties, financial oversight, risk management, stakeholder engagement and performance management using the Balanced Scorecard approach.

The Board was formally introduced in February 2026. The induction supported its role in setting strategic direction and strengthening accountability as NHRTI develops its research and training mandate.
