The institute’s microbiology and reference laboratory work includes support for bacteriology performance across laboratories in Zambia. Its institutional account describes a PTS management review involving the Ministry of Health and the United Kingdom Health Security Agency.
The review considered service sustainability, the quality management system and continuous improvement, with attention to ISO/IEC 17043:2023 requirements.
