Board committees
Finance & Administration Committee (FAC)
Directs financial policy, budgetary controls, administrative operations, and resource allocation.
Audit & Risk Committee
Oversees internal control systems, enterprise risk frameworks, statutory audit compliance, and financial reporting.
Expert Advisory Committee (EAC)
Delivers technical and scientific counsel to the Board regarding strategic research agendas, training priorities, and scientific policy.
Connecting direction and institutional delivery
The Board’s responsibilities connect strategic direction, resource stewardship and scientific advice. The Director-General leads day-to-day administration under the direction of the Board.
